The Maasai
The Maasai migrated to Tanzania over 300 years ago and are famous for their way of life. Maasai families live in small traditional Bomas scattered over a given area. In the early morning, women leave the Boma to fetch water and collect firewood. At a very early age, young children play around mud houses and also begin to take care of cattle. The most respected Maasai warriors have been able to kill a lion single-handely.
The Hadzabe
One of the oldest tribes and with the most traditional unique ways of life for over 10,000 years the Hadzabe live in the dry cracked terrain near Lake Eyasi, south of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. They have inhabited the acacia forests and scrubland around Lake Eyasi near the mountains for thousands of years. The Hadzabe set up camp temporarily and have small families.
