We are member of TLTO (Tanzania Local Tour Operators), TAWTO (Tanzania Association of Women Tour Operators – where by our Director Ms. Elizabeth is the chairperson of TAWTO) TALA (Tourist Agent license/Tourist Hotels & lodges), TTB (Tanzania Tourist Board) & ATTA (African Travel and Tourism Association).

Mrembo Safaris – The company is a Tanzanian-owned company founded by a woman where Mrembo means beautiful daughter, woman, girl, the name Mrembo and the company itself is the result of the Ndito empowerHER Foundation through the Tourism Sector, on 2019 Elizabeth won the World Award Which organized by Word Tourism Forum by writing the importance of tourism for empowering women in the world, this is when Ndito empowerHER foundation has been established with key main objectives of empowering women in Tourism Education and conservation, Health, empowering women in Entrepreneur activities which focused on Tourism and business which is Environmental friendly for Sustainable Tourism.
Giving Back to the Community
For Tourists who will choose Mrembo Saris as one of the best companies which aim to empower women through its profit, that means you will help the majority of women and girls and hence will cut the poverty line as well as have the best ambassador for sustainable Tourism and environment protection. Ndito empowerHER foundation now depends on donor funds which is not sustainable but having “ Mrembo Safaris will definitely help the foundation to get fund to support these women and girls and make the world a better place to live today and for future Generation
The Ndito empowerHER Foundation is establishing a female safari Guide project to provide tour guide and conservation education to girls living near national parks and other tourist attractions. 30% of the annual profits from Mrembo safaris will go to the foundation to support the girls and women.
